I love this ugly little building on the corner of N.W. Johnson and N.W. 23rd Avenue. It's weird how bad architecture can make you see the green architecture a little better.
I started this blog because of a development project in NW Portland where a whole city block of sugar maples were cut down. Most of these trees have since been replanted, but it occurred to me that neighborhoods could use someone or other to pay attention to its trees. The purpose of this blog is to document trees and development that may impact trees in the NW neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, as well as share events, updates, and information affecting urban trees.
